National Parks of Canada

Canada has 42 National Parks, covering all provinces and territories. Ontario and Quebec also have 3 Marine Conservation Areas.

In addition, Parks Canada also manages 167 Historic Sites and 14 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Provincial Parks

Canada also has hundreds of provincial parks, which are managed by each province or territory. These natural areas have been set aside for camping, hiking and other outdoor recreation year round. Reservations are generally required to camp in provincial parks.
